Hey Gents,
Here's a quick overview of our rules. Any questions feel free to ask.
It will be a $50 entry fee for the first year with prizes to be paid out as follows:
1st - $350
2nd - $100
3rd - $50
I'd like to increase to $100 after that (basically $50 per league) but we'll vote on it.
You get points depending on how you place in each sport. Rankings are determined based on overall points. Below is the point breakdown.
1st - 11 points
2nd - 9 points
3rd - 8 points
4th - 7 points
5th - 6 points
6th - 5 points
7th - 4 points
8th - 3 points

As for keepers you can keep five players total each year. You can choose how you'd like to divide this up between the two sports. You can keep all five from one sport if you'd like.
The draft will be a slow draft held on these boards. You have 24 hours to make your pick which should be plenty of time. If you take longer than 24 hours than your fellow league members are legally permitted (and required) to inflict physical harm to get you to make your pick. As always though, no touching of the hair or face. If you're constantly missing the 24 hour time cap we may have to start skipping your pick. You'd be able to come back and make your pick afterwards but the draft would proceed without you. I don't imagine we'll have to resort to this for anyone though.
Trades
Trading is acceptable between sports (so you can trade a goalie for a QB). The only restriction is there can only be a maximum of five draft picks traded during the season. This opens up during the off-season. There will be trade deadlines for both NHL and NFL. Once the NFL trade deadline passes NHL only trades are still okay but NFL trading will not open back up until the conclusion of the NHL fantasy season.
